Piano Removals Darlington
Removals Service for Upright Pianos
Family-run in Darlington since 1993
Need an upright piano moved in or around Darlington? Jonathan’s Light Haulage moves upright pianos on their own or as part of a house move. We’re a family-run removals firm and have been moving homes and furniture around Darlington since 1993.
Upright pianos are heavy, top-heavy and easy to damage on steps and door frames. We move them on a wheeled piano dolly and load them using the tail lift on our van, as in the photos on this page.
Please note: we move upright pianos only. We don’t move grand pianos.

How to Book a Piano Removal
1. Tell us about the piano. Let us know it’s an upright, the collection and delivery addresses, and any steps, stairs or narrow doorways at either end. A photo of the piano and the access helps.
2. Get a free quote. We’ll give you a price before anything is booked. If the piano is part of a house move, it goes on the same quote as the rest of your furniture.
3. Moving day. We protect the piano, wheel it out on the dolly, load it on the tail lift and secure it in the van, then place it where you want it at the new address.
